Newbie here (04 SG CSL with 16k on clock) and ive had my car around 3 weeks now (loving it!!!) and have booked my first track day at Brands on Nov 25th - so on the advice of many other CSL owners ive checked my car into Simpsons to have the RTAB Limiter Kit fitted and Geo set up.
Its being fitted next Tuesday 4th November. Im going to get there for 9am and guess i will be there for a few hours - so if any CSL owners are passing by it would be great to meet and say hello!!

It looks very similar to the Turner kit - I'm sure there's very little in it performance wise with both offering the same benefits. I think the Turner kit is more widely used/recognised?

I'm certainly happy with the Turner kit after 'testing' it at the track! :smt023

it limits the movement in the tca bush tightens the back and and stops the bushes tearing a great upograde for little money

It restricts movement of the rear trailing arm bushes. TBH i don't see the benefit over just some better bushes.

By 'better', do you mean poly bushes?

As you're no doubt aware, poly bushes transmit a greater level of vibrations through the suspension (and the rest of the car).

This is fine for a car which spends all of it's life on a track. But not necessarily great for a road car (which is tracked regularly). The bush limiting kit allows you to have the compliance of the standard bushes without (obviously) letting them move around.

Hi CSLBecks, I'll be passing through Simpsons on Tuesday, but later on at about 3pm if your still there? Won't be in the CSL though. It's tucked up under it's cover in the garage.

Personally speaking, I'd only be willing to let Simpsons, Thorney's or Murketts tinker with my CSL.

Why is that then??

Out of interest, having the RTAB replaced with the OEM items - is it relatively inexpensive ?

Reason I ask is that my car fills a little tail happy at the moment and I don't track my cars - so when it goes in for its service I might get this done.

NOOO STAY AWAY FROM THE ROGUE kit

The rogue rtab is poly-urethane just like the powerflex rtab, but if you actually hold both in hand, the rogue rtab feels like cheap plastic, where the powerflex rtab actually feels a bit softer but still very stiff.

the rogue version 1 was terrible as the copper anti-seize would just squeeze off of it completely. i had them on my car for about 2k miles before being so put off by the sound

here are the rogue ones in the holding

here they are outside of the holding -- notice barely ANY anti-seize left?

the powerflex ones have been on my car for about 6k miles with no problems

This is what my M3 looked like at the time
