Don't think this is one we've seen before is it. Looks like the bits are in good nick apart from the drivers door area and the bumper.
How many writeoffs this year - this has got to be the fifth or something like it?
Looks like it might be this one: BM04 CSL ?

That looks like the one that crashed into my fire station (Marlow) and we are still waiting for our doors and wall to be repaired.

Could you buy a CSL and get it taken apart, shipped and rebuilt in the US?
Or put onto a standard chassis (same I know) and store the CSL Chassis?

I so far have done everything OEM as per http://www.clubcsl.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2:m3-csl-parts&catid=1:m3-csl-info&Itemid=7
Right now I'm just trying to get some last pieces to make it 100 percent there. Believe me it wasn't cheap, nor an easy project. US sucks for not getting the original csl, as it would have saved me lots of time and money. I would buy one and import one if i ever wreck my current M3 as i'll swap the chassis and the Vin's on them then. Until then i'm happy with what i have.

Mainly the airbox, also the cams which i'm gonna buy brand new unless i find someone who's actually going to lable each rocker arm for each cam which i highly doubt.
Everything else i have lined up though for the completion of this project. I have the full interior/exterior and exhaust. My car started as a zcp. I also have the actual csl rims on trade order as well just to make sure i get the 8.5 inch rims up front plus i do believe the csl one's are lighter still. A member on here is supposed to help me get the rear glass as well, so i really am trying to get it as close to a csl as possible. I may have found an airbox for a really descent price so we'll see where that guy goes with the pending sale. So hopefully he comes through.

I'm not worried about you, I'm sure you'll come through eventually. I did find out its gonna only cost me 90 usd plus the weather stripping to change out the rear glass. So my shop will be ready for it when the time does come.

I saw this car on the M40 on a car transporter a few months back, it was one serious impact on the drivers side, worse than it looks on the pics, properly fooked:bigcry:
