Hi Guys,
As some of you may know I am selling my CSL, these have been removed and are being sold separately.
For those of you that don't know, here is the spec, and a link to Thorneys website for reference (this CSL CUP kit is exclusive to Thorney Motorsport).
Fronts - 6 Pot Mono-block Calliper - 365mm disc's
Rears - 4 Pot Mono-block Calliper - 343mm disc's (this kit doesn't use the standard disc like the AP kit does)
Stainless Steel Alcon lines
Thorney's Website (http://www.thorneymotorsport.co.uk/products/product_info.php?products_id=4596) - note this price does not include the uprated RS29 pads.
The disc's are near perfect, they don't have a lip on them and Alcon say they are good for 40k miles from new. These have only done a few of thousand miles.
The pads are Pagid Yellow RS29's, fronts are not worn much at all (were replaced not long before I bought them) and the rears have around 4mm left, but don't wear quickly.
The calipers are good condition, a few chips and scrapes, but only cosmetic so this didn't bother me - to be honest I make them sound worse than they are, when they're on the car you can't really see any chips.
The lines are perfect, I bought new ones when i put them on the car from Thorney for £250

I cannot stress how good these brakes are, I have used a few BBK's in the past, but the stopping force of this kit is unreal. Braking from high speed, the needle can barley keep up with the deceleration and I have almost dislocated a man boob on a few occasions. :hahaha:
In terms of price, I want £2500 for them which is a bargain considering they are almost twice that new. They don't need an expensive refurbishment like a lot of sets of AP's that appear for sale do, and have everything you need to put them on the car in a few hours.
Regards,
James
