Hi, I know AP Racing 6 pots seem to be the best but for 1/2 the price what do you think of those 8 Pots ?

Thank you.

Eduardo.

Run them on my Evo and they were spot on. Well worth the money.

If you go for them be sure and spec decent pads though, the Ksport pads are pi$h.

Dogwank.

I know someone who warped a calliper FFS, would rather have OEM + decent pads and fluid than those things.

Are they not a bit like the company Tarox, too many parts to go wrong and a long wait for supply, When AP are well known and service is the best when they go wrong, my 6 pot floating disc's on my RS500 were serviced in a week.

from what i'v heard people who use these brake seem very happy with them. tbo i could'nt see myself spending £2100 on a set of front brakes, even if stopping power and customer service is very slighly better.

i'll make a phone call to ksport early next week and ask them was suppy of consumables, waiting time and if there's any kind of warrenty ect

K sports are fine on smaller cars which were on a lotus I had.

The CSL on the other hand is still a relatively heavy car and hence why most with aftermarket brakes run AP's or Alcons.

For me, the brakes are THE best upgrade I've done on the car, and worth every penny.

Best

Tarox are shit too, 10 or 12 small pistons in a row are not better than 6 bigger pistons, all they do is put pressure on the centre line of the pad instead of evenly. Still there are people who fall for more pistons = better...

On a CSL you put Brembo, AP or Alcon, a car like that doesn't deserve less :smokin:

I personally know lots of people running K sports who have hammered them for several seasons with 0 issues.

The new ones are far better than the early kits.

They seemed to stop great too with gd pads.

You spends your money, you takes your chance
