Guys,
do you think this dent can be removed by PDR?

Had some PDR guy look at it and he said it cannot be removed unless I take it to a body shop. :smt088

Rubbish. One could use external methods.
Glue a suction cup to the panel, attach a slide hammer, pull it out.
Attach, if incapable, a reflection board, then knock it back down to a uniform orange peel.
However, that dent can be accessed internally by removing the rear quarter panel trim and susequent infill panel with ease.

hey Monty,
thank you very much for that. The guy was telling me its too thin to drill the hole etc. etc. and that I would need a body shop to have it fillered. :bigcry:
Your comments are very useful. Thx mate!

Na, I watched a guy removed a dent out of the 1/4 panel on my Wives Golf. I'd imagine he'd go in from the wheel arch and work from there. It's amazing how they do it with their various mirrors etc, I thought it was completely gone at one point but when he asked me to look in the mirror with stripes you could still see it a bit.
Try somewhere else mate. How did it get there in the first place? :-s
