Oil consumption

Sitting here bored watching the rain & thought what is the typical oil consumption of a csl engine? Mine appears to be negligible i.e. Never topped up between annual oil change. Average 6k year

Average 6k yearI dont need to top up between services and i do about the same mileage as you,athough i do an extra oil change between services.Also if i were you i would get the sensor looked at as Shimmy says,you dont know if your +0.6 or +1.1;)

Thanks, I wish the dip stick was easier to get at. Can't beat old fashion technology
