..... Might be worth checking under your skirts ( oh I say ), removed mine today and seems to hold water in there with some surface rust present.
Might be worth removing and giving them a polish/wax and coat of wax oil :thumbs:

Dead easy mate, remove the centre of the black clips underneath and pull down. This should release the larger part. Then start at the back of the car and pull the skirt abit and it'll pop out. Simply just work your way along.
Some of the clips will stay in the body of the car, this is ok as the rest should be lined up anyway.
