Thanks guys,

Hopefully will be picking the car up early next week.

M3CSLIRL - I will let you know how the CSL and GT2 compare after I have spent more time in both, I have always loved M series BMW's and completely fell in love with the CSL after a test drive.

My initial thoughts after driving both were that the GT2 is awesome with massive power and is a bit of a mentalist if you are aggressive with it, whereas the CSL is much more controllable and easier to drive nearer the limit which is very rewarding.

The GT2 can sometimes feel like its going to kill you and Im sure I have less confidence with the engine in the rear.

When you do get it right with the GT2 its awesome but its hard to know how much to push, when you have pushed a little too far its not very forgiving!

The CSL noise is probably the best sounding car for me (on par with a gallardo with a tubi) Both sound different but both awesome.

I can see me wanting to track to CSL more than the GT2.

Cheers

Where did you end up buying one from? How much did you get it for if you don't mind me asking?

I bought the one you drove on Saturday :-D

I wanted a dealer car with warranty and after asking about the prep they were going to do on the car and looking over the items on the prep sheet I negotiated a deal.

25,750 which I think is a bargain.

I plan to keep the car forever and as a couple of members here will know my previous cars know I will keep the car to a high standard, so if little things need doing like steering wheel, surely thats part of the fun! getting the car to absolute top condition.

The car will go straight to the guy who details my cars as he is a genius!

At 25k I felt i could not go wrong with a dealer car.

cheers

Not a bad price in the end then :-D

Hopefully I won't be gutted when I go and look at a few more but I think most cars with that milage on are going to have similar marks on.

What prep work are they going to do for you?

These cars seem to sell quite fast :119:
