Popped on yesterday but close to home so only had to drive abt a mile. Manual doesn't really suggest it to be a big deal as long as the next decent trip out is to a stealer for checks.

What's experience ? Can I make it from LN to Cambridge dealer OK (I have to be in Cambridge a week on Sat anyway) or shall I ask recovery to take it there under warranty ? Will my car self combust ?

if you have bmw assist get them to you, I would ask them if they will take it to your dealer of choice first

As Nathan says ;)

Mine popped on along with a barrage of others on my 1st flying lap over at the ring last month.
Completed the lap, switched the car off, re started and then when over 30mph it popped off.

Done that every time i went out yet has not returned since my final lap.
Im just going to leave it until the next oil service and mention it then.
