Dusted off the CSL yesterday - a short notice trip to the mainland! Left the house at 12:30 - stopped to fill her up. Yarmouth ferry booked at 13:50. Arrived ferry terminal - delays! A 35 min ferry trip took me until 3pm to get off the effing ferry. Had a great drive through the New Forest - into Portsmouth.. A3.... uh ohh M25!

I had just passed Junction 9 and traffic halted. This was around 4:15pm. Engines off, everyone out their cars. It was so surreal. People were talking to each other, smiling at each other... it felt like I was in a film or something. Lots of helicopters and police later I managed to get off the *&$%£&$* M25 at 9pm. Hurrah!! Oh no... static traffic again...

I got to my destination at 10.20pm. Poor kids were hungry as they ate at 11ish before we left. I was sooo loathe to feed them in the CSL as I only had some oaty brunch bar thing with choc over it and a cocopops snack bar which I would never usually take with me, but luckily did. I waited until they were crying with hunger before I fed them as I didn't want a mess in the car (of course I jest ;)) so I hand fed them lol! (although my husband found a very small piece of oaty bar on the inside windscreen today).

I have to say it was the worst day of my life!! I felt so sorry for the car behind me as they were only on the M25 as they took a wrong turn... fecking gutted (made me feel not so bad though).

Today had to travel home with the husband. I can't resist driving her and as my back had recovered let him sit in the passenger seat.

Went through London and got onto the A3 from there. All fine.. got to Portsmouth and a ferry had broken down so big delays again! I thought I would have to be surgically removed from the car when I got home.

So me and the CSL had a lot of time to re-bond and when it was good, I had tingles down my spine, I felt so proud at the admiring glances she was getting (although they never let on they look:whistle:, but I see them.hanging back and pointing:smt055.)

BUT I had a chance to test out the Hindhead tunnel :supz: F*ck me, it's ace! It was like a disco with all the coloured lights. I got husband to do a little video for you... just going to download and see if it's suitable to show you ;)

Outcome of my horrific days, I am not ever selling :smt055

Christ that exhaust is loud in the tunnel !

We went past the aftermath of the M25 crash this evening, they were still working on the anti-clockwise carriageway at 7pm, the clockwise (our direction luckily) had also been partly resurfaced and one lane was open.

Really bad luck for you to get caught up in it, we were talking in the car about how many hours people must have been stuck :bigcry: .

Great video. I love how the Merc SUV jams on the brakes when you put your foot down. "WTF is that noise?"

Good effort.

I took my daughter jess out in the csl for the first time this afto. We did our usual test track lap round the lanes near castle grey skull which she is used to going round in the gt3 (she's 2 in a few weeks)
Each time I opened the csl up she looked at me as if to say 'dad what the hell is that noise'
