I have finally done it and put my deposit down on a really nice CSL, really genuine owner (an engineer like me so has a level or appreciation and eye for detail on mechanical things hes also owned the car for the past 6 years).

All the history of the car ties up with the milage and the car condition inside and out also reflects what an 18k mile car should be like (winscreen and seats etc all have original stickers all paperwork as supplied with the car etc). I'm just booking it into a main dealer before driving it for a full inspection service with gearbox and diff oil change! Hope to pick it up next week

Welcome.

So you bought the dry storage one, well done. Can I ask out of curiosity was the original owner keeping it as an investment? Did he buy it from new/put many miles on it if not? What did he do about the service schedule bearing in mind it was sat for a couple of years SORN.

Questions, questions, questions.

Enjoy.
