Hi All
My name is Matt and I'm new to the forum. I've just got out of a 997 GT3 RS and am looking to join the CSL movement.
If anyone know's of a good CSL looking for a new home then please do PM me. I haven't decided which colour is fastest yet.

Why the move out of the GT3 RS. Is it just a change you are after or the need for something double hatted ie more useable and practical as well as a track toy?
I have just ventured into Porsche with a 996 GT3. I would have loved to have bought a slightly more raw RS but as I have kept the CSL for the moment I could not justify the additional GBP 15k.
Good luck with your search. There are plenty of internet 'experts' on here as well as experts and knowledge.
Oh and welcome.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Well I needed the cash to put into property, but mostly I was getting heat from her indoors about having a car with only 2 seats - despite the fact that we never went out with the kids in either my E92 M3 or 997 C2S.
I test drove a couple at the weekend and was really very impressed.
All I know is that I'd like one with a/c and a BMW warranty.

I get the feeling most have air-conditioning as it is an apparent 'must have' as for warranties I think the number is a lot less - guessing 50/50. Mine does but then mine is a garage queen. I am sure there was a pole a while back on how many owners still had warranties on their motors'.
There must be a few here in the For Sale section. I am sure someone will be along shortly. Those that are not busy at Destination Nurburgring at the moment.

Hey welcome from a fellow newbie
I;m sure others will advise further and more expertly but the CSL I bought recently had no active warranty. But it can be added afterwards as long as it has FBMWSH and the running in check around time. I got a quote last week for £764 - it is much lower if it is <60k miles.

I think they've pretty much all got aircon but as has been said you need sub 60k miles and full BMW history to get the warranty at a reasonable price - it goes north of £2k after 60k miles!
I would recommend Xenons as a must have as well.
I'm ex Porsche 911 myself but nothing so lovely as a GT3 RS
Good luck with the search!

Oh, and SG is faster :hahaha:
