As per Shane's other arrival thread, decided to jump out of mine.

Many reasons, little one on way, car is so track focused with the race KW's and bits and bobs, it was not ideal for for road use, and as I was using it daily was sometimes a bit tiring .. Had thought about buying a daily, old 3 series, a run-about etc and keeping, ( but I know what im like and would just never use it and always take the CSL ) also thought about having my new purchase and keeping the CSL, but as shane was on the look out ish, we had a natter and the deal was done. ( and tbh the new toy is doing 15mpg so owing that and the CSL on race cats and stage 2 was always gonna be a tad expensive )

TBH if i had decided to sell later on, could not be arsed with all the tyre kicking goons, and as mine had been used properly your always gonna have a smaller window of potential purchasers out there, as a lot of peeps want a unmolested pristine queen.

So sold fully loaded with all the toys on her ..

So plan is after little one is born, a full on track car, so I can get back out and race again, after doing the CSL Cup in 09 and my first season racing, track days just didn't have the same buzz for me anymore, once you've been out on slicks and competing, so seemed daft to have a track focused CSL sitting on my drive doing fook all.

New beast is a ..... 4.2 Supercharged HST Range Rover Sport, on 22'' Overfinch's

To tow the pending race car to track next year with room for small one and passengers in comfort ;)

Picked up last Sat from Harrogate, already lost the chrome side vents for carbon jobbies, orange side repeaters in the bin for clear ones, and a few dazza tweaks in the pipeline ( new toys and all that )

Anyway gonna miss the CSL whatever I replaced it with, 2/3 years and GT3 will be ready to add to the stable ..

Nice one Daz - as tricky as it is to let go, it's always good fun to start a new project etc. As long as this doesn't prevent you from attending Wharf beers
