I had them and due to some warranty work that was carried out OEM were put back on. If Andy hadn't of told me I would have never known ;)

Either use OEM with limiters or do it properly and rose joint.

I drove Bealos on road a bit and only knew it had them when I saw the invoice from 2009

So no noticeable on road difference between OEM or POWERFLEX except the latter will last much longer :smokin:
It's what I was hoping to hear, THANX

Why will they last longer than OEM with limiter? Sure some posts on here say they tear after a short time? I really wouldn't bother, if you want to locate it properly then do a proper job on it, for anything else OEM with limiter is fine.

OK Nathan. You'll buy me the RTABs limiter kit  I'll get a pair of New OEM RTABs  and I'll sell the POWERFLEX RTABs I already have :smokin:
BTW, I sense a bit of bad blood between you and POWERFLEX ? ;) :hahaha:

Just think these uprated bushes are gash, if OEM & limiter last 60k miles and are as stiff as powerflex I don't see the point in them.
Rose joint it ya big gay :gayfight:

had them for a while
no noise what so ever.
turner motorsports makes a spherical (solid) rtab that also makes no noise and actually makes the rear end feel that much more stable
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-1172-tms-racing-trailing-arm-bushing-kit-e36-e46.aspx
also have these as my oem rubber ones were slowly dying -
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3580-tms-e36e46-upper-monoball-subframecontrol-arm-bushings.aspx
put those in when i did my rear ball joints.

Yeah, him saying that moving to a solid RTAB makes the rear end feel that much more stable with no noise must really help your max power inspired powerflex quest
Of course, if you prefer the rear toe to change under load then crack on with your brightly coloured plastic tat, you can probably find some bright purple coolant hoses too if you want :blalalala:

lol, shimmy won't be impressed.
Hope those bushes work out for you anyway and don't fail as quickly as some of theirs have been known too after a couple of weeks ;)

Wrong bushes to the ones I'm having fitted but that's a shocking sight never the less. Was that on a road car ? was it Tracked extensively ? and were these front/lower wishbone rear bushes fitted correctly ? I've seen some bods hammer these On :banghead: ( instead of gently pressing them in using a proper press) damaging them in the process, only to blame POWERFLEX for poor quality afterwards :clown: ;)

No idea on fitting matey, not my car, they were on the car for 2 weeks apparently.

mine fitted 1 week before (all the bushes), then ejected with a hard braking during a trackday @ spa !
all the bushes were removed, and replaced by oem (with limiter for the rear)
the bill: 2 x entire set of bushes + 2 x .....hours :banghead:

Hi,
You may as well use Bubble Gum as
fit the Powerflex Purple range.
Black is a little better, its a higher
shore but still nowhere as good
as the Superflex bushes.
http://www.superflex.co.uk/products.php?cat=95
For a Road Car Delrin is too hrash, but for
a Track, even Race car these are very good.
Alloy Outer with alloy inner and a Delrin
wearing bush which is available on its own.
Really do make the front end nice and taught.
Has been said and tested many times the
rear limiter kit with std bushes still seems
to be the best for anything other than a
full Race Car.
Regards,
The Gorilla.

cheers!
the powerflex rtabs are damn good. they are good performers and they are strong enough and wont go to hell like the oem rtabs.
i chose the solid turner ones because i wanted a more serious bushing back there.
the powerflex front control arm bushing is known to crack. i too went w/the ground control hybrid front control arm bushing. some people have experienced a knock, but mine have been quiet from the first day.

Hi,
7.77 - You can purchase them here, they
even do them with noise isolaters.
I purchased them elsewhere as there was
a good offer on them at that time.
