If you could get the s65 in a Csl without effecting the dynamics then it would be an absolute animal on track.

Hi,

Nathan- yes please on the Pics.

Front Bank of cylinders should
just be a little forward of the
strut towers.

S54 has about 2, so weight saving over
the front axle is a lot.

I had some pics of the ALMS Schnitzer
cars, just built prior to being
sent to the States/ PTG.
But can not seem find them on my old Lap top.

To this day I believe the E46 GTR was
a very clever Trick Car / Shell.

All the genuine E46 GTR shells were
brought back by Schnitzer, only the
S54 engined shells were left behind !!!!

Lawsy- I keep looking and measuring.

Just trying to find a way so that it can all
be slid in and out very quickly !!!!

Reason is that V8, is engine out to do most things.

I did try and locate either a Mader or
a P60 [same engine] as both are flat plane
cranks, not quite as available as a S65, and
then you have the major component issues.

The Gorilla.

Hi,

I expect many will have already
seen this Car.

I believe its a PTG E46 GTR ''Clone'
as BMW pulled all the original
Schnitzer GTR Cars back when the
row with Porsche errupted over the
ALMS regs in 2002.

The side exhaust across the passanger
foot well is how PTG ran there S54
engined Cars.

Shame its got an S62 engine which
are not exactly known for their
revving capabilities.
