Todays GP drivers are good and the cars are amazing but every now and then I like to remind myself of what real GP drivers used to do.

Here's a nice one. The simply was no better balls out one lap master than this guy. The new movie is a must see.

Stunning and makes todays drivers totally spoiled bratts. The more times I watch that one the more impressed I am! Deserves 3 views every time to appreciate.:smokin:

I agree with your edit Rob. Not easy doing this while catching rays by a tropical pool, half pissed on all incl. cocktails in Mallorca!:beer::smokin:

I've been watching the TT this week - road surface looks racetrack smooth, with angled kerbs too:smokin: Yanto's idea has some legs :beer:

I'm a bit of a Senna fan, as you might well have guessed, and was at Donnington in '93. Yes, the first lap was extraordinary, but the thing I remember most was the amount of times in the race that others (eg Prost) pitted to change tyres in changeable conditions compared to Senna. He mightn't have been able to walk on water (that I know of), but he could sure drive on it
