Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I live in California and for obvious reasons can't have a csl in the states other wise i would do so in a heart beat. I have a 2005 interlagos blue zcp m3 that has oem csl cf roof, oem csl trunk, oem csl bumper, oem csl diffusor, oem csl headers, oem csl cats, and csl oem center console. I've been trying to locate the interior for the past couple of months i need the seats front and rear, and panels front and rear.
Does anyone have a site where i can obtain parts either from wrecked m3's or any of you who may have an extra interior laying around. I'm gonna post in the WTB section as well as soon as i figure out how to donate money to this forum. Thanks guys.

Ahh I was just reading your wanted post on m3forum
You can donate by clicking on the link at the top of the page or here http://www.cslregister.com/forum/payments.php
I bumped into a guy a while back who had an interior. I got his number and put it in my phone but can't remember his name to find it! Time to organise the phone book.
I do have a steering wheel and a rear interior qtr panel (small scratch) that i was gonna list on m3forum but haven't hit the 150 post limit :)

I'm donating funds to the website right now thanks for the link. So USD the total was something like 16 bucks to donate. Stupid weak dollar.
I would like to obtain the entire interior minus the center console as i already have that. I'm afraid to buy it in pieces as i don't want to be half ass on the parts. Or miss out on a full interior that may be for sale. Unless off course the price is reasonable.
There was one guy who i saw on the m3forum selling one in the UK his forum name was M3Nut, i almost purchased some of his parts the only reason after conversion it would have been close to 10,000 USD. I'm hoping to spend between 6k-8K which is still a ton of money, off course depending on the condition and if it'll need to get reupholstered.

This sucks that we never getting anything good. No CSL, GTR, and no GTS in the states. Thanks, i hope to find one soon. Seems to have become a rarer thing to find nowadays. I passed up two seats last october and got the bumper at the time instead. How i regret not doing it the other way around. :banghead:

each to their own mate but I would strip your interior out (all of it) and just have front seats, Recaro pole position maybe, then pick up the carbon door cards, job done and for a lot less than the CSL interior you are trying to find.

I would illegally import a CSL and drive it when no one is looking. FFS, US customs continually fail to close down the trafficing of Columbia's finest into Miami....do they really give a fook about emissions of an 8 year old shitter? Really?
All in jest of course ;)

Buy one in Uk, strip it down and import as spares, then no hassle, either rebuild or use spares and sell rest
Leave shell in uk

The prices are seeming to come close to where I'll be able to buy one, strip it completely/part it out. Sell whatever i don't need make a profit, and convert the csl into a regular m3 to sell it once again. Just so i can be legit in the states. Stupid regs.
You guys may actually be onto something now it got me thinking, I'm planning on getting the interior plus the airbox. So i know all in all that would cost me around 15K after everything is said and done. Hmm have to think about this.
Ok so where can i find the cheapest csl mileage doesn't matter then.

Cossack, I have front seats, and rears, I have retained the door cards though, was thinking of keeping in case of turning car back to stock, but I think my car is on a one way trip to a donor tbh, so I would probably sell. I can also pack and ship for you as Im in that line of biz. Will try and sort some pictures of seats etc., give me a few days as Im very busy at work at min.

No way will you need to spend $15k to get interior and airbox! Should be able to get it all sorted for far less than that.

The poster above DuncarR just made my day, if it pans out. Wish i could again have the real thing but this will be the best i can do. I really do hope to get every part down to the rear glass eventually. Just have to budget it out.
Talked to several friends importing one is still not an option :bigcry:. I love this forum already first week on and I've noticed a nice community comradeship from all the other posts I've seen. I'm glad to be part of it.
The CSL Headers and Cats has been one of my favorite mods. I'm envious off all you guys.

I may have to pm some of you guys to show me a real CSL. I have a sister that lives in London. I think it would be a good excuse to come visit and check out a real csl while I'm there. Hmm something to think about as well.

Does the US not have rules about importing cars back to the US that you have owned for a certain amount of time while living abroad? If so, your sister could buy a CSL and bring it back in a year or so.

Sorry to disappoint she's married, and yes she's fit. No one in my family is obese.
She has duel citizenship, so I'm sure there's something there i can do. But again it would only be for one year. :bigcry:
I'd do it, but after everything it just would be a P.I.T.A.
If i just convert the 05 Competition Package to have all the parts, because the vin is US registered already it makes my life easy when i have to register/smog the car.
