Think safety first Daz, just because it looks nice doesnt mean it protects better.

Your baby wont have a complex just because it does'nt have a nice recaro seat;)

I couldnt give a shit what the seat looks like, I went for the safest we could get

They not good compared to the others then ?

Not an expert in all things baby seat ! , reviews seem good online surely if it was crap they wouldn't be able to get safety stamp ..

What constitutes a good baby seat that differs from the recaro one ?

Ta !!

Recaro have been making race car seats for many years, if anyone can make a safe seat baby or otherwise it's them.

You can buy the saet on it's own without the isofix base, you need to use the seatbelt to fix it into the car, the isofix base is fairly expensive about the same cost as the seat on it's own.

The recaro ones could be perfectly fine, but I have never checked them so I cant comment.

Some people feel the need to "comment" on every thread, even when they have no useful input and no knowledge about what they are "commenting" on.

Very helpful,.

I never once said the seat was crap, I was just telling Daz to research.
As it turns out the recaro seat is best buy on which?

You don't mess with safety. especially that of babies.

I never meant to bring the thread down, I think you have misunderstood.

recaro seats are really good - i've had 3 now and have been happy with all of them.

I've got the next one up from this if anyone needs one for a slightly bigger child!
