Does anyone bother with this at all?

I had mine regassed 2 years ago, and it seems to be working perfectly but with it lying about so much, it does get a bit musty. Is it worth doing or a waste of £150?

£150 :banghead:

We charge £45 for regas and £10 for treatment, and yes it is worth doing. I service my A/C every yr.

Where the fuck is charging £150 as all r134a gas is the fucking same,

The Country Garage, BMW over here in NI. Cleanser is £65 and Re-Gas is £85!!!

I know the likes of Kwikfit and that do it for around £40 so why are these mad 'uns getting away with charging this??? The only good thin that may come out of it is, if there's a leak, warranty should cover it.

Just thought about getting it done while it was in for the Brake Fluid change. My dealer in Scotland will do it all for £144 inc VAT. Thinking I might just do that, while I'm over next week.

If it's cold you have no leak, only chance of leak occurring is a faulty valve which can sometimes be highlighted by regassing.

Get kwik fit to do it for £40 the cleanser only goes in cabin through vents etc. Buy one from halfords

It's not special BMW gas they use;)
