I need a couple of rear tyres for the CSL, had intended to order the same PS2's which have been on it since I bought it but wondered if there are any other alternatives that people would recommend?
Cup's are really an option as the fronts are fine and I use the car daily.
Also if anyone could recommend an online supplier that would be helpful

If you have the money these are the only road choice you need

I would get another set of PS2's to see the fronts out, then get Super Sports! (or ditch the fronts if not much left on them!)
I was running with PS2's on the front & Conti's on the rear and it hasn't been pleasant - had Super Sports fitted this week and so far they have been superb
www.tyretraders.com do Super Sports in proper Cup sizes at £968.00 delivered or £1,068.00 Fitted

Cheers for the replies, got the credit card out to order the PS2's tonight and they seam to have gone up to almost super sport prices in the last week or so, should have ordered them last week! best I can find them for is around £295 each.
I think I'll go for the PS2's as I'm not sure that I want the extra grip on the rear that super sports would give and don't really want to buy 4, was hoping someone would tell me the £200 Vredestein's were just as good as the PS2's.

cheers I'll ring them tomorrow, Any savings all go in the pot to put towards hiring an MX5 for Brands at the end of the year.

Chuck some Super Sorts on the rear, they work fine with ps2's, better that than the other way round ;)

Mine had Pirelli P Zeros on all round when I bought it. I just use them for wet track days now and got some Michelin PS2s for normal road use.

What difference would it make if it was the other way round?

I wouldn't ever mix n'match tyre brands on a performance car. Simple.

Super sports grip is noticably better than the PS2's.
I'd rather have a bit more understeer than over steer ;) - take it to the extreme, if you had ditchfinders on the rear and CUP's on the front then you'd be drift king.

Good job they're are the same brand then. ;)
