Car now SOLD
Up on Pistonheads and now on here as well.
For sale is my 2003 ‘53’ registered BMW M3 CSL.
If you’re looking at this, I am sure you know what the car is, but it’s fair to say that the recent specialist media coverage of them shows the overdue recognition of this gem of a car. It makes the most amazing noise, and is hugely entertaining to drive.
So to the car itself:
• Silver Grey (I wanted Black when looking, but went for the best car I could find instead!)
• c36,000 miles
• CD player
• Air Conditioning
• Original windscreen
• CSL plaque in place
• AP racing brake upgrade (a common upgrade) – front discs and pads replaced 2/11 (AP discs & Pagid rs29s)
• BMW monthly warranty (£100 excess, costing £90 p/m), which I understand can be transferred to the new owner
• Full BMW Service History
• Private plate comes with car (‘**53 CSL’)
Car will also come with the original take on pack, including the welcome brochure, CSL glovebox folder, CSL model (very rare!) and mirror-hanger warning you about the perils of Michelin Cup tyres!
Recent work
- Front Discs and pads replaced in February 2011
- Tyres (Michelin PS2s)
- Rears replaced in April 2011
- Fronts replaced in November 2010
Oil changed in November 2011 at Murketts who replaced the leaky rear diff under warranty. Full BMW Service History available on request.
Inspection II due in 7,800miles.
I’ve got a very big folder of bills, MOTs and receipts, and am happy for any inspection. I am selling to fund a house purchase, but haven’t found the house yet, so am fortunate enough to not be desperate to sell. Very sad sale!
I’m free to show the car most weekends (located in West London – Shepherd’s Bush / Olympia), and will try to reply to any queries over email as soon as possible. Thank you for looking, and feel free to email with any questions.
I am the fourth owner, and can be reached on bedatate /at/ gmail.com
