4) Sailorbaz (Possibly with JonnyS in tow, but no car)
We're maybe heading to Mondello on the 27th May for a nosey about, with the possibility of hooking up with Whopwop and his CSL. I'll be taking mine down but Jonny might be just chumming me along with the idea of taking a few drinks the night before. It's all pie-in-the-sky at the minute like, but it's an idea of a place???
ChrisB? The Donk?

I won't be able to get there for the whole day, but might drop down in the afternoon to say hello
What's the plan for afterwards? You boys heading back up north or staying around for a few ?

It is aye, someone on that BMW-driver.net told me about it and then asked if Whopwop fancied it.

Don't know yet, as I say it's all pie-in-the-sky but her indoors is away on her Hen for the weekend so never know,

Right, car won't be getting used much before then, so I'm going to have me a little road trip that weekend to give it a run. Mondello on Fri 27th May, then down to Cork afterwards so see what's going on at that meet in Blarney
Hopefully  & :partyman:, especially as I'll be celebrating the 50k mile mark I think

Sorry I never replied to you sooner but yeah, I might be heading down to Cork for the craic and of course some beer! Then again, I 'might' have to head over to the UK to do a Fire Fighting course, I'll see. I still fancy a wrecking match in Dublin though on the Friday night! ;-)

No probs Baz. I reckon Guinness has fairly good fire extinguishing properties too :drinkers:

Sorry to hear that Baz. I bought the exhaust off cantfind1 off here.
It's a full 304 stainless steel tig welded custom exhaust with 100 cell Redline race cats that was made for his car. It has no baffles and the centre section is mirrored off the SS X pipe with centre silencer. It's supposedly 99 db at 3/4 rpm..
@LeinsCSL
Thing is right. NOT SURE IF IT'LL STAY ON AFTER THE TRACK DAY.. sorry for shouting but I'm a bit deaf at the moment ;)

and Jeff the standard exhaust went back on the car today along with normal pads and normal geometry :gayfight:
I did 3k mikes in the last two weeks and am deaf as a post, didn't realise brakes don't normally wail like a banshee around town and as for tramlining along the gouges in the roads around here! ;)

:thumbs:lifetime investment! Keeping those memories alive..
I'm gutted that I probably won't make the FoS in Adare as it's literaly on my doorstep. Looks like I'll be away with work :banghead:
Jeff do you remember the GT3 sliding out of Dunlop while we were having a chat on the pitlane, well I managed to shoot off enough stills to cobble this together:

Had a wee look at that festival of speed, looks like a bit of craic to say the least.
But, I don't think her indoors would be too impressed heading away down there 4-4 1/2 hour drive for a car thing 6 days before our Wedding. Then again, could be a nice excuse to get away from it all...

There's a Trackskills thing happening on Sunday, I might take a run to if I'm home on time and the car's MOT'd (and passes) on time. Booked for Thursday but I'm not holding my breath that I'll be home by then. :bigcry:
Never been to one of those Trackskills doo's....
