Well folks as mentioned in another thread I have started to make my car just the way I want it :clown:
After fitting my wheels, tyres and various other bits and bobs yesterday I decided to give her a nice bath and some TLC for a few photo's.
Some maxi sud's working away, great stuff

Well here is the story with the flaps, they were on the car when I got it and it was to me mission nuremo uno to remove them.
However after giving the car a good clean and seeing the condition of the bodywork and keeping in mind the condition of my V3 M3 when I sold it - fook it they are staying on :smt047

I don't have that problem ;) but they will act like an Air brake on yours if you don't get rid of them
On second thoughts... leve them On, I've just noticed you're still running the OEM wrongness excuse for brakes :blalalala: ;) :hahaha:

Looking well Chris, and don't listen to these boys about Brakes (I've got Standard brakes too)
I'd seen these (Mud flaps) at that Titanic 1/4 meet and meant to ask you about them. I have to say, NI is the first place I've seen Mud Flaps on an E46 M3 (Gaz's) and yours obviously the 1st on a CSL. I have to agree, they don't look as bad as everyone is making out they do. As you say, they're good for paint protection particularly for over here and living in the Country.

Thats it Baz, the roads are woefull over here as you know and with the spacers they are'nt to bad. Quite a few of the boys here trying to get them now after seeing Gaz's car and mine.

Running 15mm all round Bounce, had 12's on but not quite enough IMO so put my 15's on. Had these all from my previous cars.

Ordinarily i love flaps. But... :bigcry:
I'd rather spend a bit of cash tarting-up the car's paintwork every few years than have mudflaps tbh.
Car looks great otherwise

I actually think the flaps are pretty inoffensive. I'd not buy them but I'd be a little tempted to leave them on myself.
