The speedo over reads around 10mph at those sort of speeds though...

I've had 162'ish on the clock out of mine with plenty left :thumbs:

Edit to add mine has a factory re-limit on it but I personally haven't gone faster yet.

I've hit the limiter a few times which is 162mph on gps, showing about 170mph on the speedo, gets there pretty easily so i would imagine 175-180 is possible.

i had 160 on the ring in 5th but won't go any faster in 6th.

Hit the limiter indicating 165(ish) on the clock, which is a pretty accurate 155 on GPS. I have heard some rumours that 190 is possible with a delimit. Not sure how true this is since the CSL doesn't have the most aerodynamic front bumper in the world, although the gearing would suggest that it is possible. If someone has the gear ratios and diff ratio, I'll calculate the exact theorectical maximum speed.

I've had 185 (Speedo) on the autobahn, it takes a long time to squeeze the top end out though.

AMEND SOME OF THE LOCATIONS TO FOREIGN ONES IF YOU GET MY DRIFT fook caps , plod has a way of causing people trouble at these speeds !

I got up to that speed once , head down though !!:smokin: never done it in a car yet !

Kids came along, wifey wasnt too happy about explaining away why daddy wouldnt be home this week-end ! ... I did have 3 malfunctions in 150 jumps, so as stats go thats pretty bad actually ! my mate had about 3500 jumps and not a single reserve ride ! ...that should have been my handle "Reserve Ride Rogers" ... I even had a fookin high speed mal and reserve ride on the first jump of my old AFF course ffs :banghead: ... great bit of video, would be a Youtube moment, shame I lent the vid out and it got lost ! Its all a time thing or I wouldnt mind burning a hole through the air again, albeit a much bigger fooker than before ! tried my old jumpsuit on a few years ago .... not a chance !! :hahaha: ... old style now, cost a fortune back then, made to measure with all the grips ! will try and get in it again and post a pic !
