Beeping when turning on ignition...

Got my CSL on the Friday, loving it but just a quick question...

When put the keys in and I turn the ignition on there is about 10 beeps in a row. Is this normal and why does it do it if so?

I take it your not meant to wait for them to finish before starting it?

You can get it not to beep if you:

1) Put your seatbelt on before starting

2) Turn the key to position 2 and leave it there for a couple of secs so that the gearbox has a chance to go into "N" before you actually start it.
