Hello, i was just wondering how much weight did the csl actually lose? Was it 180kg, 160kg or 110kg? Different results over google.

Depends on whether it has xenons/aircon etc to some extent. A fully specced CSL compared to a poverty spec manual E46 M3 wouldn't be much more than 100kg less I'd have thought. UK M3s had a fairly high spec from the factory (electric leather seats etc), so would probably do worse by comparison than in other markets.

My E46 M3 with quite a loaded spec was 1595kg's.

When standard my CSL with A/C, business radio/CD, Xenons, was 1425kg's, same fuel loads.

Both weighed on the same geometry scales.

I thought Clarkson said it was either 140 or 160 kg weight loss.

Begs the question what isthe m3 basic weight based on, and does it include a/c, sat nav, etc etc or are they all extra

I think there non CSL versions .. full fat with comfort and fun in mind ;)
