Been working on the house so left the CSL at parents house so it was out of harms way.
Went to get her this morning as she was booked in at Sheffield Sytner to have a bonnet tidy up, sadly on the way I took a roundabout a bit to narrow and caught the back rear alloy.
Got out at Sytner and felt like crying every alloy was immaculate now 1 is skimmed on the edge, nothing bad but something I hate to see as I'm quite protective with my cars.
Asked Peter at Sytner to check the alloy over and the balancing as it didn't feel right on the way, and obviously to repair it.
Obviously my stupid fault for being a tard :bigcry:

Chin up mate, look on the bright side, if you'd have taken it a bit wide then you'd have hit the other wheel and bent something ;):hahaha:

That's not so bad, Sir?
You could have been thoroughly cleaning the underside of your car at the weekend and found this sitting at the bottom of your nearside rear coil spring seat:

Like I did! :smt012
Fortunately, I've hardly driven mine since buying it a few weeks ago.
And...double-fortunately, I was doing what I was doing by cleaning the wheel-arch areas.
And... triple-fortunately, the broken piece was still there as it had broken so low down that I might otherwise not have even noticed!

So I gather! I think this could be my first 'warranty trip'? Not even the most unreasonable of service managers could consture that that was in anyway due to to a late run-in service! :hahaha:

Surely a snapped spring at 30k miles is covered under a fully comp warrany with no excess....and if if it isn't then surely this is the acid test of it not being worth the paper it's printed on?

They'll change that, no problem.

I'm sure it will be UNLESS it says suspension components are not covered;)

Hmmm...nice idea!
Just checked the warranty statement....suspension components are not in the list of exclusions.

They are cheap anyway. I'd push to get both sides swapped out or buy another one for the other side

Surely they will do both under warranty if one goes kaput (?)
