I was wondering if anyone on here knows this car or its history:

This seems to have been for sale for a long time. I did make enquires when I was looking to buy back in October last year as other than the bits like the indicators and badges it looked ok and it was not that far from me. It was priced then at £23995 but when I called the guy seemed a bit sketchy on the details. I did HPI it and it showed outstanding finance at the time but no recorded damage. I found mine prior to going to see it but I am suprised it is still for sale.

If it is a good car £21995 that is now being asked for it seems like a good price.

That car has been around for AGES, isn't it the one that went to Germany or something? I'm sure it has some 'hidden' (or not so) history...or am I mistaken?

I looked into the german one too. From memory it had BBK fitted and had covered 60k. Purchased from someone in kent and taken to Germany. Still on English plates & documents.

I left that one alone as I heard there may have been a story to it.

I e-mailed and phoned about that car before buying mine in January but the dealer was such hard work to get any information out of I didn't even bother going to see it.

Sounds like I did the best thing, what was wrong with it out of interest?

I had the same sort of problem. The guy was friendly enough but did not seem very forthcoming with any information. I asked if I could view it one Sunday, but I was told it was to specialist for the guy who works Sundays to deal with. I decided to look for something else.

Me three, getting any info out of the guy was like pulling teeth, 30-40 mins from home, so decided to take a look at it.

Hemmed in at the back of the showroom could not access the boot or passenger side due to wall/ another car in the way, two 'salesmen' sitting around not one could be bothered to get off thier respective chairs...............
