guys
having a debate with one of the lads at work just bought (boy racer) cupra k1 stage 2+. think these are 360bhp on a rolling start he is confident in winning the csl whats your thought? i disagree. maybe in a straight line would be close but round corners different story.

Straight line isn't exactly CSL's best attribute...

With some fettling, those little Seat's can certainly shift and would certainly prove hard to beat by a CSL from a standing start.
Around a race track would be a whole different ball game, however...
I know which attribute would please me more about any car - track ability.

With respect, I find the question stupid, chavy and pointless. Why are you even bothered?

get your mate on a track day, he would probably end up in an amrco trying to keep up with a track fettled CSL
If he was in a stripped out race prepped one then who knows
I know which steering wheel I would rather be sat behind ;)
I do agree with Alex on this :)

take him up on his offer on a hot summer day
when my car was stock - i was silly enough to try it and lost.
Seriously though - a healthy CSL with a working airbox flap will win this one. I am 1000% sure, it would.
