Chaps,

Asked Shimmy on Cutters and he said best to ask you tech guys.

When I start my CSL up from cold, the idle dosn't stay at the same level, it goes up and down for a couple of minutes then just stays at the same level, isn't loud though just sounds as if someone taps the accelerator very softly. I checked the RPM guage and it dosn't move.... the car drives fine and no errors flash.

Is this part of the warm up process? shoud I have it checked?

Sounds like normal imo, does it do it more with ac on? Come back bm3w.co.uk and I think you'd get the answer

Not tried it with A/C on. Will give it a try this weekend.

Its just everytime I start it it happens, but I thought it could be to do with the engine warm up or something. I never drive straight away when starting always wait in the car for a few minutes.

Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated.

Mine does it with the AC on, but not with it off. Sounds normal though.

Mine seems to have always done that a little, more so with A/C on.

Completely normal.

AC tends to make it 'hunt' more on tick-over and is main reason for turning AC on as it sounds menacing and scares the other cars in paddock
