Mine was 1420 with 2/3 tank fuel, Aps and intrax but full oem interior, radio, aircon, etc so am surprised yours is so heavy? How much did the cage weigh?

Cage made from lead? :bigcry:

Also remembered I have a supersprint full system with the lightweight back box.
The cage is a safety devices bolt in job. So its no T45 svelte, but its rear only, I'd be surprised if it was more than 50kg.
I reckon everyone is using generous weighbridges and dynos ;-)

Mine and Nathans are corner weighted at Simpson Motorsport on a fairly regular basis. Are you sure your local weighbridge works OK?:gayfight:;)

Who knows eh. All I can say is that its a commercial one used by farms/truckers and gets inspected/calibrated regularly. The people who run it reckon its spot on accurate although I believe it rounds to 10Kg.
The evo came out at 1340Kg with 14l of oil and a full fuel tank. Full cage but lightened/stripped body. Probably about right.

Do you know what the Simpson scales said when you had your intrax fitted?

I would take a weighbridge reading with a pinch of salt.
A couple of years ago I tried to find out about calibration and accuracy of these. The nearest thing I could find was that the rounding, usually 10 or 20kg, was referred to as a "division" and that the weighbridge is within 3 divisions. For HGV's they allow +\-50kg before taking you off the road. Can be +\-150kg if one axle weighed at a time.
I'll add I'm no expert, but I fitted the cage...
It's not filled with lead, honest!

lardy indeed. What does 997 GT3 RS weigh pls?
997 GT3 RS - 1375kg
996 GT3 RS - 1350kg
996 GT3 - 1380kg
As far as I am aware these are the weights and although you ask for the 997's weight it is probably fairer to compare the 996 as they were produced in the same era.

997 GT3 RS - 1375kg
996 GT3 RS - 1350kg
996 GT3 - 1380kg

So are we to assume these are also the weights by the book and not accurate when it comes to actually weighing the car? Be interested to know acutal weight of one on the scales like the RS with a cage etc
My CSL with cage + over half tank was c/weighted at 1385kg and more has been shed since.

Yes mate - car belongs to a local tuner and car guru near the KW factory. He's a very nice chap too - he also had a rather nice gunmetal GT-R as well as a few other cars
