New ones are 1500GBP and not 1700.
I bought mine from here ->
http://rimstyle.com/products/detail/?category=alloy_wheels;type=bbs_ch_bs;model=1400;i d=BBSCH-BS-ID1400-D19-W85l100-P5120-E35l20

What size tyres would you run on the rear of these? 275/30/19?
Also would you get any rubbing with the above tyre size and the slightly increased offset when the car is a little lower than standard - i.e setup on coilovers :)
Cheers, James

James, I run standard CSL cup sizes on them, there is no rubbing with this size.
You get 20mm extra width in the tracking.

Thanks for that, last question - what happened to the cracked rim? did it get replaced by BBS or did you get it repaired?

What is it then ? Tankslapper and friends ?
I thought the site was about CSLs.
Why did you get upset that I shared with the fellow CSL owners what's the current price of BBS CHs in the UK ?
What's wrong with that ?

I've just been looking at some new ones at Simpsons and they look lovely tbh. belays car has the black ones with chrome rim piece:thumbs:
They I think are a little heavier than CSL rims if I was to guess but very stiff and rigid and good quality. Great prices now BBS, and these are at least £550-650 cheaper than new so you can't argue with that, even though I'd like to:smt055

No SS on Bealos, Miltek instead,
aP Brakes are staying on unless you can persuade me it's worth swapping yours for Bealos at Simpsons!
Mine is now full SS race, res centre section, cats as well as Intrax, geo, 265 up front, gearbox teach, spanner check, all for a very good price. Good chat with the boys and lunch with Alex. Supercharger should be all up and running fir Snetterton :smokin:

And some driver training. ;)
But yes I agree with the weight, and wheels.
Unless running cams etc then I think the other engine mods are a waste, and I'm dubious about re-maps on these engines too.

Yes sorry, driver training as well, but I gained loads of time at Bedford before having Wildsies input at Snett.

Is he on bike or car?
The new circuit plays into the csl's hands more so than old one then.

In his GaymanS
I'm not sure yet. The ol circuit had some good mid speed corners with two bug straight
I suppose most of them are still there in on form or another, different entry and exit speeds but very similar
Infield new section won't be as quick overall so the extra slower corners and hairpin may not help CSLs
Well see

You got your cameras ready?
Should get some good footage:thumbs:
The evo should be good on the slower stuff, extra grip extra grunt.
I have not been on track in dry in it so I am unsure of fast or med corners speeds yet,
The way its panning out, I will be picking it up, driving to warwickshire, dropping it off, picking it up from warwickshire and driving to snett on the 5th.
Would have like to give it a shakedown on rd, but suppose shakedown on track is better.
