And those calipers look very close to the wheel...not much room left there.

They are great i had them on my M3 e36 and they were good on road and track.

Also the discs are the best you can buy. Thats why i went for Hi Spec and not ap as the ap discs dont last and are not as big.

They are close to the wheel but they do clear and i have not got my spacers on in the pix when they go on it will have another 15mm.

The rear i am geting made are 4 pot and will use the standard bmw disc
and are more for looks but will add to the stoping power

And all the kit will be cheaper than a front set of AP'S

If any 1 wants a set i can see if you can get 10% discount

Are you able to fit 18" rims or only 19"s

Not sure as i only have 19" wheels for road and Track.
But i dont think 18" wheels will fit.

There web site said only 19"+
and they do a 360mm disc for 18" wheels

to fit that kit the inside of your wheel has to be 450mm, & 60mm from the face of your disks to the back of the wheel face to clear the calipers

Feck, they are huge !

Heard the same about AP discs.

Its a minor thing and obviously a personal one, but not keen on the 'Hi Spec' logo - doesn't have the QDOS of AP or Brembo etc...

I an not vain and dont need the AP / BREMBO / ETC On my csl each to there own, I also think that they are vastly over priceing the Name.

Just my 2P worth

The fronts are on and i have to say what a difference they make
at least 20 yards later on the brakes now.

Can’t wait to get the back on

They look just the ticket :smokin:

I am the same when it comes to names im affraid. Look for practicallity and function over brand.

On my Evo i was looking for a nice good set of brakes. Spent a good couple of weeks researching all the different makes available and in the end i went for some 356mm 8 pot K Sports.

Amazing set up and 1/2 the price of Alcons or AP's.

My Cossie has AP's and tbh there is very little if no difference between them. The K Sports even use AP pad and disk configuration.

If i can eventually get myself a CSL then decent stoppers are 1st on the list.

Thats the back kit on my CSL.
And all i can say is walllweee. what a big difference the rear kit has made
it feels like the car squats on the road when i apply the brake, it does not
dive down at the front now.

I shall post pix tomorrow
me and gaz are going to take some shots for the callander then i shall
get them orderd :-D

You don't get too many going for the back upgrade so interested in your thoughts and would sound like it was the right way to go.

Did you have to cut the backing plates front and rear to get these to fit, as you do with the APs?
