Found a set of wheels but it's 5 wheels not 4.

Ideal and price is ok, so factoring it how much I can flog the extra one for.

So noone knows what it's worth? lol

Presuming more than the cheese wheel below?

Stuff it I'll make him an offer and then see what I can get for the single.

Why do you lot all need extra odd wheels. Do you destroy them, or just after spare track wheels?

I know the value

If it is absolutely unmarked or properly refurbed it would sell for £250+
If it is lightly marked £200 max
Heavily marked £150 Ono

shimmy's bang on with his second hand estimates. reputable wheel refurb companies are charging £110 per wheel all in price.
i've just had all 4 csl alloys done...£440 . The finish is as new and reflects good value considering BMW want £1600 plus for new items.

£45 s very cheap

I've watched Lepsons do mine and it is around £20 of materials (paint) and nearly 3 man/hours to strip and Refurb

Lepsons are OK / good, but once-upon-a-time ( I think it might have been you Rob?) there was a link to a write-up on a place by an M5 owner who had some Shadow Chrome wheels done. The end result was simply stunning.

maybe 20 quid retail value, but trade values will be less and on top of that they are operating using economies of scale.

magnesium is 45 quid and for the normal 19" oem chrome m3 alloy it was 35 quid! i think bmw were charging circa 100 quid per rim (cant really remember, might be more). just shows you how much they've got in it.
