View Full Version : CSL gets yet another mention in Evo...
as one of 30 cars you can run for a year for nothing.
"...right now the CSL is a bargain", "values are starting to climb", "sure-fire future classic", "best instake noise of anything south of a macca F1" etc etc
A few lines from Paul Eggleton in there as well

Looking at current demand for decent CSLs I can see prices rising in the next 12-24 months.
My plan us starting to bear fruit

I am so, so glad I bought this over the Z4M Roadster I WAS going to buy at the time, nearly 5 years ago. I would have lost £25K compared to the £10K I 'might' have lost on my CSL.

In november I was lucky enough to get a place on the lamborghini Edinburgh track day at knock hill.
I was first on track in a brand new superleggera on Italian factory plates!! the car was amazing and I was blown away but i can quite honestly say it was not more fun than my csl, I cant think of any car id trade it for even if the value goes up, iv never had a car I could say that about!!

Who ironically put it up for sale last week..............having second thoughts now:bigcry:
Having said that I've literally had just two responses from the ad; asking if I would px with a car I don't want. At this rate it won't be going anywhere!

I suppose Tino's went relatively quickly, do these people want to pay top dollar or what we all 'think' they are worth though?
I'm sure we could all sell ours within the day priced at 22K :hahaha:

As one of the threads said demand seems to be cantering on 30k mile cars stronger.
Winter never is good I sell and climate economically is not helping. I think the main thing is if you have higher mileage car don't advertise for greater than 3 weeks as the car on PH starts to look like a clanger and the few new buyers start to think it cannot be a great example.
Re-advertise after a short break

Paul, I am not sure how many miles you have on yours but I know when I popped into Munich Legends they said that if I wanted to sell mine they were on the look out for sub 30,000 mile examples as they had a few customers after these and were having trouble sourcing them.
They had one in the window up for +£30k which was a sub 30,000 miler which had sold. At the end of the day there are not going to be many sub 30s left now (obviously have a look at my other thread) so I would have thought the parameters will stretch if the customer cannot source his 'first' choice.

They have and sounds like a great basis for a road/track a la Duncan spec. Doesn't look like it's done anything like the mileage it has.
Great buy for someone.

Mines at 55k..............
As shimmy suggested earlier if it doesn't go in the next 10 days then I'll take it down as it's certainly not a clanger and I don't want it appearing so.
