Not a CSL but I cannot believe just how much money the latest M5 has lost in 3 years. The one below is at a BMW dealer for £28990, thats just over 50%. OK it has high mileage but 30k gets you a 20k mile car from non franchise dealer....These cars will be worth less than a CSL in 6 months time....thats alot of V10 car for the money don't you think.

Same situation across the channel, theses sort of cars are going way down on prices , plenty for sale, less interest and no customers due to petrol hight prices on in pumpstations, registration taxes going crazy (1500£ for a V10 M5 theses day's and 900£ for a Csl actually) and since a few week's there is a new "ecotaxe" on cars.... if you car generate less CO you get a discount but an extra taxe if you generate more CO well you give some extra money for a V10 M5 it's around 1300£.... :119:

Yep give it a year and they will be giving them away :-D OK under 25k then.

Others that have been taking a hit...

Maserati Quattroporte can be had for 28k....I had a 3200gt and when I fancied one of these about a year ago you would struggle to pick one up for under 40k.

M6 under 36K also a V8 M3 (2006) was advertised on Pistonheads for under 35k recently...it was snapped up straight away. Think it was from one of these performance car hire companies.

My mate sells cars and has just sold a spotless BMW 630 with 58k on the clock, 2005 with warrenty for 16k....He also has a R Reg high spec/high mileage Boxster for 6995k ...didn't realise they where that low either.

Hoping to see a 911gt3 for under 30k soon :hahaha: :smt108 Will not hold my breath for that though.

Dare i say maybe you could consider an RS4 estate... I should probably wash my mouth out though!

considered the RS6 avant and thought it was too small & thirsty

New M5 estate would be ideal choice, but rare and expensive

for what its worth, i should just keep the shogun and not lose any money :bigcry:

Plus the RS6 avant is just clinical and dare I say boring, I had one for two days...blisteringly quick but dull. Never really got fast Audi. I think I must also be the only person on earth who doesn't like the R8. Looks like a cut and shut with that coloured strip in the middle.

No mate, i think it's pants too - especially with those Chavvy day running LEDs! :smt108

Hi Glendog...been down to Dartmouth and St Austell this week and kept my eyes peeled for a CSL with black wheels, but only saw Honda's being driven by the blue rinse brigade and alot of fast and furious jap cars :119: especially in Devon.

Lol! My car is parked on a Navy airbase during the week - i'm in Plymouth this weekend and had new rear tyres fitted today - ouch! I'll be based in Somerset very soon so will be a little more central for track days and meets!

You're getting closer to me then. I'm arounf 9 miles from Bristol, plus there are 4 of us around here so we could have a little meet onre weekend.

Cool - would be nice to meet a few more owners. I think Castle Combe is near to where i'll be - not sure how good that is though. I'm tempted to get the AP brake upgrade when my current standard disks/Pagid pads get tired :-D

Castle Combe is only about 10 miles from Bristol so you will be close. Love Combe but only ever done it in a Lotus..it's a fast track, not long very long but loads of fun.
