Agreed the purchase of a sapphire black CSL today subject to a specialist checking it over later in the week and my current car going through an MOT tomorrow.

It's done 50,000 with recent inspection 2, new disks and pads needs the front bumper painting but other than that all seams well.

Can't wait to pick it up.

Cheers for the replies

I took a friend who runs a bodyshop to see the car, it's had the odd bit of paintwork but nothing major so thats fine

Also spoken to Barney at Classic hero's who did the inspection 2 and other bits and he said it was a good car from what he remembers.

Fingers crossed Munich legends won't find much wrong with it, I expect to get the odd 'bushes might need changing soon' kind of comments but not expecting too much, the guy selling it seams to look after his cars well, interior seams very good.

Just got to try and get used to the SMG which could come as a shock, I'm seeing lots of stalling on hill starts for the first few days.

Thanks for the replies

Had it check over by Munich Legends on Wednesday, few things they've spotted including

1 snapped rear spring
play in diff, might want swapping but I'll see how I get on.
A/C belt frayed
one door surround will need replacing soon
boot release works intermittently
Clip missing on battery cover
strap on fuel flap broken
exhaust flange needs welding
stone chips on front bumper
few minor scratches on the front bumper carbon trims.

Did mention that the engine is slightly noisier than others they've had in but didn't seam to thing it was anything which would cause a problem.

Overall said that it drove well and had all of the appropriate software updates and traceable history. Knocked a bit off incase I need to buy a diff, so I'm picking it up first thing tomorrow morning.

A few jobs to crack on with over the next couple of weekends to get it up to scratch.

Hill start is foot on brake then hold the left flappy paddle in till revs rise then foot off brake and go

Wont work on flat ground must be an incline

Or just left foot brake non?

The lack of clutch means I always brake with my left foot.
