GT5 - Just Bought a CSL !

Okay, Okay,

I know it wont be for everyone, but I've always been a huge Grand Tourismo fan and waited for years on the latest version to finally come out - GT5!

I'm sure there will be plenty on here too :)

I was told the CSL wasn't on the new version, but it popped up on the Used Cars For Sale section last night!

Upgraded the engine only (to 450hp lol) and took it for a spin round the ring - 7:40 something and what a blast!

If you are into GT5 you must try it, its brilliant!

Nice one mate, ive bought one on GT5 too, pushing 500bhp & weighing in at 1153kg, its super quick, done it in a straight line, runs out of steam at 180mph

Shame they couldn't put the proper wheels on the CSL though, mine just has the standard M3 19's! :(

You have to do the AMG special events to unlock the ring. But to unlock these, you need to do some of the basic licences first. :thumbs:

£eckin boils my pi$$ when i decide to settle down for a couple of hrs play with a bottle or two of beer and some GT5 only for it to pop up with "system update required" :banghead: :banghead:

Hmmm I need to be getting the CSL, on Lvl 8 currently done the AMG ring thingy, and purchased and Intergrale in white, last time I was in the used car bit, there was a std M3 but no CSL.

Then a few days ago the M3 was no longer in the sale garage ??

Do they only stay in there for a bit ?

The used car garage will chuck 6 new cars in at a time which will replace the 6 cars at the bottom of the list. This happens pretty much after every race you do.

I've got the M3, M3 CSL, and the M3 GTR (not the full on race version) b ut to be honest in standard form they all drive pretty much the same. The CSL only seems to come in black aswell, and doesn't have CSL wheels on it! :(

Anyway, enough GT5 geeking, I haven't introducted myself yet :)

I've not done a single license - they are mind numbingly BORING!

In the old game, you HAD to do them, in the new one you progress as your Experience builds and this happens the more racing you do. I'm on Experience Level 21. Worrying statistic is I've covered 1700miles on it, which I'm pretty sure is real time mileage. Good job MrsBee loves me :thumbs:

Spent tonight trying to master my Veyron after upgrading it to 1100odd Hp with only 1400odd kgs with mods totaling.... 260,000.00 !!

Ahhhh, if only life was as easy!

Funny, my CSL was black with the cheezy 19inch std wheels too... still a quick re-spray sorted that, but can't seem to do anything with the wheels?:banghead: Still, you dont see them when your driving.

Anyone whos looking for a decent wheel for the game I can't recommend the G25 any higher - its got a clutch pedal, 6spd box and a great wheel. Also the seats from Gameracer just finish it off ace :thumbs: Pressie from the Mrs a couple of years ago, the best and most used present Ive ever had!

Is it wrong that I've done more virtual miles in the CSL than I have in the real one?

Got me one of these badboys from Santa and on the ring (24hr thankyoupleash) with a slightly modified CSL (SG of course) it's absolutely ferkin awesome.
