View Full Version : anyone here has upgraded his audio in CSL?

love to have super powerful audio in car, but don't want to add much weight to the CSL where the light weight is the key point...

this was done to my E46 M3 and it was best sounding system i ever had, but added like 40kg what is way too much

I transferred my pioneer unit from my old m3 to the csl
no speaker upgrade its good enough for me

The only thing a radio/stereo is any good for in a CSL is to catch the weather and traffic report. For the rest of the time it's off. More interesting noises to listen to.;)

The only thing a radio/stereo is any good for in a CSL is to catch the weather and traffic report. For the rest of the time it's off. More interesting noises to listen to.;)

Mine was stereoless but previous owner put pioner unit in.
I prefer to get original bmw one intalled.
Either that or the original blanking cover.
If you have either and want to sell get in touch. Thanks

even though it looks better having OEM i had a n Alpine unit fitted and it is x5 better than BMW business unit and even with OEm speakers the sound is much better so dont rush back to BMW Business ffs

The sound system in my car was greatly improved .... by removing all the seats and all the fookin carpets and soundproofing !!!:smokin:
