help - steering wheel

ok not a csl one....

whats the best steering wheel for gaming, looking at one for my son (xbox)
then I can get him GT5 :whistle:
he has one already with the pedals and he uses it all the time but its not a very good one.. I didnt want to splash the cash thinking he would only use it a couple of times, he's never off it !

I got a great one last christmas, a present from the Mrs.

Logitech G25 with pedals inc clutch and gear level

Force steering wheel, very good

Pedals feel very very real.

Gearchange can be done with gear lever in a conventional H pattern or locked into a sequential- push/pull. Also gear change on paddles.

All in gets my vote, had many hours of fun:thumbs:

GT5 is only on the PS3 and the best wheel for that is the G25 as Lawsy mentioned. But for the XBOX they do a Porsche GT3 RS wheel - http://www.fanatec.de/html/index.php?id=230&lang=en - not cheap but is a very good wheel by all accounts. I bought the microsoft one year ago but it's crap.

you can tell Im not a gamer but really fancied a go at it with the steering wheel

there's only 2 that do xbox and ps3, the other option is steering wheel only and everything else is optional and Im not 100% whats compatible
