I don t suppose someone has a picture of the sticker on their CSL ecu or could tell me what the numbers are on it.
Need to know ASAP.
This is the program number of the ecu ie what map is on the MSS54HP CSL ecu. Like this pic here need to know the number circled. Sticker is on the front cover of the ecu.
PM me if you prefer
Cheers Peeps massive favour I know!
Top number is your vin, don t need that, middle 2 numbers are not needed either.

Craig might have one from when he was breaking his CSL
Alternatively, I would expect Simpsons or Thorney could tell you, maybe Evolve no dealings with them though

Probably doesnt help but the number in the sticker above is the last part of the part number here
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=BL96&mospid=50641&btnr=12_1081&hg=12&fg=10
Unfortunately there are 2 but given one is end of life and both are listed as essentially compatible with the CSL, maybe a safe assumption

Just been through about 300 pictures I have but cannot find any of the ECU as I left it attched to the wiring with the engine and sold it as a whole.
Will keep looking!

Another thought, maybe if you ask roland to check the VIN number from the picture he can confirm if its from a CSL, then its job done and double dusted :)

No the pic in the first post is just a random ecu not out of CSL, was just using it to show what number I am looking for.
Well if any one can help would be greatly appreciated.

From What I can see the VIN is from a 2000 M5, so thats that out of the window
