Time to move on for a while as I concentrate on building a race car and competing in the MX5 Championship next year - hence I'll have no time to use the GT3 as I usually like to.
I will update this post soon with full details of what is on the car as prior to me buying in March 09 it had been lavished with all manner of Manthey goodies including
K400 conversion (409bhp recorded) - this includes inlet, manifold, exhaust and ecu remap
Manthey spec KWv3 coilovers
GT2 big brake upgrade including Alcon discs and recent Pagid RS29 pads
RS style carbon rear wing
Cargraphic 3-piece split rim alloys shod with Michelin PS Cups
Cup style steering wheel
Cup induction system
Cooling ducts to front brakes
aero improvement in front PU (RS style)
plus much more
Mileage is about 68k miles and I am the 5th owner I think. The car has had 1 quite big "off" in the past but was repaired to better than original standard and no expense has ever been spared on this car. There is a full history and bills for everything that has ever been bought by the look of it. Spare keys, etc - just as you would expect for such a car.
Full service history and has been maintained by JZM for the last 5 years.
The condition is very good. It is used on track a lot as that's what this car was built for. The set-up is very track focused - very stiff and uncompromising, so not the best on British B roads but better than most other 911's on track. Don't just take my word for it - Mike Wilds will vouch for this also.
Any inspection is welcome and this is a very genuine car and a genuine reason for sale. I will be sad to see it go, but would be sadder to see it sit there not being used. The matt black wrap could be removed by taking it back to the wrapping company (Raccoon) and is a beautiful Polar Silver underneath - but with the matt black wrap it looks very stealth and suits the car perfectly. Don't consider this if you want a standard, original GT3 - but do consider it if you want one of the very best, most focused and balanced GT3s for fast road/ track days.
Looking for £37.5k given the time of year as a realistic price to sell. If it doesn't go at this price before the end of the year then I'll re-advertise at the start of the trackday season next year for more money.
PM me if interested and we can talk further. Not interested in any offers at this price or px's, etc.
Cheers
Terry
