Looking to buy a second set of wheels for track, is there anything much lighter than the OEM wheels?

specialist advice i had said that if you want the best get stiff and light rims, not just one or the other. That would normally favour smaller, fored rims made from best materials
From my hunting around Volks (Rays) Racing rims seem to tick most boxes. You can now get 18 and 19 inch (9.5J all round if you wish) in BMW pattern and offsets and they are mostly in the 8-9Kg range compared with OEM at 11-12.5kg. Costs probably £2200. Models CE28, RE30 or G2.
another common option is Team Dynamics ProRace 1.2 (9J all round) and i think these can be bought for nearer £800, not quite as light or as rigid but a good compromise and good price, probably worth buying 6
Running square set up wil reduce some understeer and allow for better tyre wear as you can swap front and back before they wear out:smokin:
