GTS at Lloyd's

If you are near Lime Street, there is a nice shiney Orange GTS loitering. BMW did a talk to us Lloyd's Motor Club members. Sorry about the poor quality iPhone picture. Sounds nice but no way a worthy successor to the CSL.

Exactly, I love orange, don't like it in that colour at all, even if I had the dosh to buy one, I would not touch it with yours :hahaha:

I think the gts may be just a bit of a quick fix really, "bolt on this, bolt on that and paint the fooker orange that'll reel em in" thinks the beemer man looking enviously at the gt3's as they pass him on track....

What i didn't like in a CSL at first is that the engine is not much stronger compared to standard M3. At least this time round - BMW have increased the capacity, making it able to compete with 997.2 GT3 RS.

CSL compared to 996 GT3 RS gets left behind by quite a margin. Dissapointing IMHO.

As for corners - I am confident M3 GTS will hold its own against 997.2 RS but the price of the thing..................!!!!!!!!!!

Its just not worth the dough.....

I wouldnt be tempted if it was the same price as a GT3, let alone an RS...

As previously said, looks like a privateer in the BTCC....so much more choice available at that money - two year old Gt2 anyone (and change for a CSL) ??.

Ltd numbers argument doesn't cut it imo.

You cannot really compare the two cars really. The Pork is pretty much a full on track car which cost almost double what the CSL did at the time.

BMW never went as hardcore as they could have done with the CSL and ended up making it more appealing to those who wanted a little more comfort.
