Well folks after being offline for a few months ive sold my E92 M3 and decided I have lost enough money on cars and now is the time for a CSL in my life.
Does anyone know anything about a SG FN54XDR?
Have viewed and intend doing so again with a friend who knows more about them than I do...

Thanks Matt, interesting. I know the guy who looked after it at our local dealer and he is pretty sure it is a good car, however as mentioned in that link it has been for sale for a while and I need to find out why?
Car is listed as one owner on the N.I log book which I have seen myself and yes was owned by a local businessman and his wife. It has also just had rear springs, induction flap, DME software update and a service all around 1k ago.
I cant put my finger on it but there must be a reason why it has not sold?

24k miles it should feel and look pretty sharp. Prob best to get on a plane and take a look and see if anything looks wrong if not a good opportunity for a bargain maybe
I thought it had sold tbh

No need, I live here :blalalala: Greame who Yanto bought his car from has kindly offered to look at the car with me so hopefully get that done early next week.
Just keen to suss out as much as possible about the car before parting with any money.
Dont think it is a bargain though Shimmy?, the car is clean inside and out. Steering wheel is not in good shape but the carbon trim inside and everything outside looks good. The wheels need a refurb as some donkey has done a piss poor job on them, just on this - is there an easy way to tell the proper CSL wheels from say CS ones?
Bringing a paint depth gauge as well when I go back...

99% of reps do not have BMW stamped/embossed around the centre of the rim in the metal near the M badge. They have the numbers/sizing but the BMW bit is left blank. see on this pic the BMW stamp.
As for CS front rims (rears are the same) they have 8.0 instead of 8.5 stamped on the outside

Behind the rim the originals have BBS stamped in one of the triangles

May also be worth looking at youtube for burnouts, launch control starts etc etc.....
Took a look through some of the vids last night - eye watering on some occasions ! (not specific to this car, just in general)
