Glad i'm not buying a Jahreskarte next year! :bigcry:

Problem is, they will most probably charge track day organisers more next year so 'Destination Nurburgring' will probably cost more also :banghead:

JK not looking as good value as previous years ... its main benefit IMHO is just being able to get on/off at Breidscheid :banghead: .... and its not great value then if you only manage 9 metres ...is it T$ ???

Being able to avoid the queues @ Eds Tankeshtale and going to ARAL @ Breidscheid is one of the benefits
Shame about the big price increases to JK without any useful improvements to Nordshleife access :banghead:

Why don't they put up the single lap ticket by the same percentage ?

Personally they should double it allowing for public insurance cover.

Why don't they start by sorting out the access & car park nightmare that currently exists :banghead: to justify their cost hikes :banghead:

They'll not spend out and improve the Nordschleife whilst they are in debt for that waste of space 'Ringwerk' over at the GP Streke... They'll continue to squeeze punters out of yet more money though! :banghead:

If you buy a 4 round card you get free acces to some of the ring werk things .
Also now they offer some kind of video service so you can video your ring lap .

Maybe the price hikes will quieten the place down a bit, so might be a good thing.

They'd do themselves a good favour by providing more TF days/weekends through the year, spreading the load a bit. They'll get more revenue and less incidents on track.

.

i agree Alex, all i hear is how the place is too busy and full of muppets so the only way that is gonna change is if they price out a proportion of the cars by raising prices or at least making prices seasonal (more expensive and weekends and in the summer)

its very hard to turn back time so the best you can hope for is for things to progress along lines that suit you :smokin:

This is it Shim. Sadly, however, I feel the price hikes are pure money grabbing. I just hope it removes some muppetry as a by-product.;)

of course the Ring will be trying to maximise profits (albeit short term outlook imho). But their plans will be 15 years plus so if they dont by intention or accident make the place safer and easier to insure by improving standards and car numbers as well as disproportionate speeds it wont last that long i guarantee:smokin:

more full Ring TDs is one way of getting the accident numbers down but i ma not sure it will increase profit

Jokers the lot of them :banghead:

Needs someone to bang some heads together over there and sort the issues and get it back to what it's all about ...

Are the jahreskarten tied to the buyer or to his car ie if you have two cars you want to track can you use the card for both cars and if it is tied to you as a person does that mean you can ride in someone elses car and get them a free lap?

Yes

Wrong. As a JK owner you can only use it yourself for laps you are driving.
