Hi OK I guess perhaps nobody has had this need before but I want to preserve my back seats from the kids! I would also like to fit a central seat belt. I guess I can swap my seats with ?any? E46 coupe? Does anybody have any advice on what I can replace the seats with and how to put a central seat belt on? Also can I use seats from a 4 door E46 or seats from an E36 etc etc

I have some mint e46 Coupe M-Sport ones sitting in my storage that are in the same material as the CSL seats (alcantara/M-Cloth).
You can only use e46 Coupe Im afraid.

I'm pretty sure any E46 coupe seats would fit so long as you include the bolsters.
I thought you were selling Eric?

Report is going in as we speak to some spurious child abuse charity helpline come rescue organisation. Two seatbelts three children nicknamed 'Operation Certain Death'.
Cripes I can remember riding around in my mum's Allegro van with my two sisters and no belts. Actually my sister bumped her head and cut it on something sticking out of the wheel arch on the inside of the van. Still at least she learnt from it - hang on tight!

Ps Shimmy you are not from a gypsy family are you ?

That's not for Shimmy, it's for his Mrs when he isn't about. She pins his picture to it.;)

stick with the standard e46 m3 set up, middle lap belt. works a treat and no need to change seats for a small one ;)

Oh I'll need to change the seat, apart from the plastic thingy in the middle my kids will leave there muddy foot prints all over the seats so its more for car protection than anything else (obviously safety too, did I say that a little late!)
Oh by the way the car isn't for sale anymore, long story

Sell the darling rugrats into slavery Eric ...save you the hassle !! :hahaha:
Nice to hear you are keeping it
Too right to want to save the seats from the kids. My cheeky gits haven't had a good journey unless have dismantled a bit of the car or spilt a drink. Current favourite is to pick at the rubberised coating between the seats. Got to love them!:smt055
