From BMWCC...
Done some more research and these are the issues
The costs are not cheap and a quiet day is restricted to 40 cars and 10 on track at any time and a noisy day 25 cars and only 5 on track - so not looking good for the guys used to open pit lane but if the price was right we could work something out
Problem then is that for a quiet day the cost to each driver would be approx £200 peak season (March - October) and £140 off peak
Fridays we can have include the following
Feb: 4 / 11
Apr: 8
Sep: 2 / 9 (98dbs only) / 23 (98dbs only) / 28
Nov: 25
Dec 2 / 9 / 16
Any thoughts - Neil

Welcome to Goodwood, its the only style they run. Unless there are low numbers of cars, but even then its only an illusion of OPL.
Great circuit tho :) CSL is fine for the quiet or noisy days
Oh and for that reason u r :gayfight:

Yeah you muppet!
That's a fookin lot for sessions! I can't stand them as soon as some hero overcooks it and crashes your monies wasted and your day is screwed!
If it's not OPL I won't personally want to go.

I've had some pretty good deadlines trackdays tbh.
I think the 20 minute sessions can be a bit frantic and then if you get a couple if stoppages it can feel like a waste but the 30 minute ones can be good fun
The Old Donny direct days used to be a real hoot!
I know it's a bit vague but didn't Donny always put on a trackday between xmas and the new year? Not sure who ran it but it was always wet through and looked like proper fun, I've always wanted to do it! lol
Will deffo make the effort to do Donny next year!
