Any one ever fitted rear pdc as a after market kit or genuine kit ? thinking of having it done, any info appreciated.

Cheers

Think I might have the PDC control unit kicking about still, if I have you're welcome to it.

We supply and fit kits, relatively cheap, look oem too.
Never had any issues either and fitted them for yrs.

I can get you a kit if you want.

We fit them to the mercs, and they can be fussy owners. Think we charge £250+vat fitted and painted to suit.

Can you give me a price supply only please.
Looking at pics of genuine intalls looks like the sensors are sat in a recessed hole i.e not flush with bumper, wondering if a kit will have them sat flush ?

cheers

Mark

Did yours have pdc fitted ? looking at bumper the sensors look to be slightly recessed.

Agree with you 3wheels3.

The smooth ones (as used in the main press shoots) looks much better IMHO. Also the circa 2003 PDC sensors now look like 10p pieces compared to those fitted on the new cars - and just think about how much weight that control box adds. :-D

I have ! ... :hahaha: easily done after a day at the Ring ..a night on the piss  in Comfy Corner ... and reversing like a twat :wanker: in the car park at about 30mph ! ... all I got was beep followed by a gap of oh ...about 2 tenths of a second and then bang as I backed into a fookin pack of breeze blocks hidden in the dark in Adenau !:banghead: ... defo needs a speed limiter when in reverse for that PDC to work at its best !:hahaha:
