help, battery 2 pin lead

I have just been putting a charge on my battery and noticed a blue wire and a red wire with a black two pin connector on, near the positive lead, sticking out from the carpet (upper bit) there is a yellow plug going into the positive lead but I cant see where the blue and red lead/connector is meant to go, its just hanging here ??
any ideas ????

When the original owners purchaced their CSLs from BMW,some of them asked for caravan hookups to be installed,so thats what these leads are for.:smokin:

do you have more pics of this car ? looks like mine had this sort of things at the back (one hole for the negative earth, no rear panels when i bought the car, and fucking good front hp from quart mobil, and rear -don't remember the brand- hp)....so it just lack the 3.000.000.000.000 watts boomers and amp
